A Place in the Park was a one day art show organized by Mac Benson and Caroline Perkison on April 30th, 2023 at Red Bud Isle park. Artwork was dispersed within the park and visitors received a map vaguely revealing the location of each work. This book serves as lasting documentation of the show and features an essay by Zoe Roden and Macaella Gray.

“A Place in the Park brought the intentional and durational modes of seeing we so often practice in an institutional setting to the natural environment, encouraging viewers to experience features in the landscape as fully as they would a sculpture or painting.”
